A 1:147 scale model of the existing lighthouse at Cape Hatteras (North Carolina, USA).
The wooden replica completely replicates the design of the original lighthouse.
A sandstone lighthouse was built on the cape in 1803, and was replaced by the brick Hatteras Lighthouse in 1870. The lighthouse is a conical structure rising from an octagonal brick and granite base, topped by an iron and glass lantern. This is the tallest brick lighthouse in the United States and one of the tallest stone lighthouses in the world.
